Clan Coyote Constitution
 

This document is to ensure the order and structure of the organization known as Clan Coyote. In order to continue the tradition of Honor, Loyalty, Humility, and Truth we hereby declare this document as law in this Clan. Here we shall set the foundation of our unit so that Khan, Keshik, and Coyotes shall abide. We hereby declare the autonomy of our Clan from the vestiges of any league or parent game, and give this constitution its power by those of the willing who recognize its fundamental nature.


 

Article I

 

Section I. The structure of the Clan Coyote Keshik and Sub-Keshik shall herein be stated and defined.

Section II. The Clan Keshik powers include that of the Khan, saKhan, Loremaster, and Oathmaster. No other outside of these four shall hold the power of the Keshik, and the Khan and Keshik shall decide all policy decisions affecting the course, integrity, and security, of the clan.

Section III. Upon an emergency that calls for the expertise of different occupations, the Khan may grant all rights of the Keshik upon the Sub-Keshik. Once the emergency has concluded the Keshik is to be returned to the default size of Khan, saKhan, Loremaster, and Oathmaster.

Section IV. The Khan of Clan Coyote is granted the power over the entirety of the Keshik and Coyote Ranks below. The decision of the Khan, The Khans Prerogative, shall be final and non-withstanding by any in the Keshik or below. The duties of the Khan are to insure the administrative, integrity, and judiciary actions of the Clan are in place. All tribunals, actions, and decisions of the Clan or Keshik shall be decreed by the Khan for them to be accomplished.

Section V. The saKhan of Clan Coyote is granted the power to help the Khan and Keshik administer the decisions among the Clan. The saKhan is second only to the Khan, and in case of the Khan’s absence the saKhan shall assume the authority and mantle of the Khan until his return. The saKhan’s main element of focus is that of diplomatic and judiciary facet of the Clan. The saKhan is the foremost diplomat of the Clan.

Section VI. The Loremaster of Clan Coyote is granted the power of the tradition, wisdom, history of the Clan. The Loremaster is to be in attendance to every trial for positions inside the Clan, and shall be the principle keeper of the history and lore of the Clan.

Section VII. The Oathmaster of Clan Coyote is granted the power of organization and records of the Clan. The Oathmaster’s duty is to keep the functioning organization of the Clan operational by ensuring the Constitution is followed; this includes the Trials, Blood Houses, and News. The Oathmaster shall be the other principle trial master, and must be in attendance to all trials.

Section VIII. The ranks of Oathmaster and Loremaster are also privy to the privileges of Galaxy Commanders and may simultaneously by a Commander of a Galaxy and serve in the Keshik.

Section IX. In the absence of both Khan and saKhan, the Oathmaster and Loremaster will assume the de facto mantle of Khan and saKhan, until the return of the original leadership.

Section X. The Keshik will convene for councils once every month to discuss the current state of affairs in the Clan. The Keshik must be in attendance, and may invite different members or non-members for discussion within the council. They will not be allowed a vote in the decision making process, and only those of the Keshik will be allotted one vote each. In the case of a tie, the Khan makes the final decision.

Section XI. Where as, if a member of the Keshik is to step down, or be relieved of his position, the remaining Keshik will decide upon a suitable Coyote who has exemplified the virtues of the Clan, and is of or above the rank of Star Colonel.

Section XII. The Sub-Keshik will consist of the BloodHouse Leaders, Coyote Ancients, and Packmasters. The Sub-Keshik is an independent body associated not with the chain of command, and encompasses prestigious titles in the Clan. Each title is complementary to the rank that all of the Sub-Keshik acquire. Their role is to help the Keshik indirectly though each of their own specialties and devices.

Section XIII. The Coyote Ancient is a title that is granted to the founding members of Clan Coyote. The title bears considerable weight, and must be shown respect because of the nature it implies. Each Coyote Ancient was at the very beginning of the Clan, and has persevered through the rough time of the founding.

Section XIV. The Coyote Packmaster(s) is a title granted with the powers of recruitment and internal security. Their duty is that of increased recruitment into the Clan, and the upkeep of various recruitment means for the Clan. In the course of Clan Coyote, betrayal has been very real, and thus the title is given to those who have shown that they are loyal, trustworthy, and uphold the values of the Clan. They are selected by the Khan and saKhan only, and must be of or above the rank of Star Colonel.

Section XV. The Coyote BloodHouse Leader is a title granted to the founder and original keeper of his Bloodname. [See Article III, Section VI]

 

Article II


Section I. The structure of the Clan Coyote Galaxies and ranks shall herein be stated and defined.

Section II. Galaxies are the individual commands imbedded inside the whole of Clan Coyote. The separate Galaxies have their own distinct identity, sub-commands, and organization. Galaxies are controlled and maintained by a single Galaxy Commander, Star Colonel, and Star Captain that oversee the Coyotes in the Galaxy. Each Galaxy Commander inherits the history and tradition that each Galaxy has garnered.

Section III. The Khan and Keshik form new Galaxies upon the need and number of members that enter the Clan. In the case of a new Galaxy, the founding Commander is given the right to christen it with a surname, identity, and emblem. The founding Commander also selects out of the Coyotes who join him in the Galaxy, a Star Colonel and Star Captain to be approved by Khan and Keshik.

Section IV. With the advent of a new game there will be changes made to the structure of the Clan. A sub-set of Galaxies will be set up following the same guidelines and rules that Galaxies are held to. For the separate game the Keshik for structure will create a Galaxies in that specific game. Each of these galaxies will be under the command of a Commander in that game. The admittance into these Galaxies holds to the same rules as stated in the above sections. The membership into these Galaxies does not affect the membership in others, and are only for structure purposes in that game.

Section V. The Galaxy Commanders of Clan Coyote are granted the powers of organization, leadership, and judicial discretion inside their own Galaxy. Galaxy Commanders are the enlisted officers that work closely with the Coyotes in whichever game that Galaxy is mainly apart of. The Galaxy Commander is to be promoted through the decision of the Khan and Keshik, and consent of the Galaxy.

Section VI. The Star Colonels of Clan Coyote are granted the powers of supporting the Galaxy Commander, and recording the history and events of the Galaxy. The Star Colonel’s main component to the Galaxy is to help the Coyotes therein to find enjoyment in the Clan and Galaxy. The promotion of Star Colonels must be done by a request from the Galaxy Commander to the Khan and Keshik.

Section VII. The Star Captains of Clan Coyote are granted the powers of delegating and peace keeping. The Star Captain is the first rank of command, and as such should be the first to notify the higher commands of ideas, complaints, or more severe cases of belligerence. The promotion of the Star Captain must be done by a request from the Galaxy Commander to the Khan and Keshik.

Section VIII. The Coyotes of the Clan are granted the most immutable powers of all. The Coyote is the heart, body, and soul of the unit and makes up the vast majority of its constituency. As such it is the Coyote’s duty to uphold the Clan’s tradition and to strive for enjoyment, and possible promotion within the clan.

Section IX. The exchanges of Coyotes of any rank between Galaxies lower than Galaxy Commander are to be handled by the individual leaders of each Galaxy. The receiving Galaxy must not have a duplicate of the same rank above Coyote. The Loremaster and Oathmaster are to be notified by both Commanders so that the necessary changes can be made to the record. Galaxy Commanders may only switch Galaxies with Keshik approval.

Section X. Demotions within Clan Coyote are handed only on severe cases handled by the Khan and Keshik. Any member of the Clan may file a report for the demotion of any officer, and the Khan and Keshik will review the report unto its completion. The severity of the action defines the level of demotion if the officer is found to be guilty. The Khan and Keshik will be open to each side of the narrative when the appropriate time arises.

 

Article III


Section I. The structure of Clan Coyote BloodHouses shall herein be stated and defined.

Section II. Bloodhouses are separate entities of groups within Clan Coyote free of the chain-of-command. They hold within them the original eight Coyote BloodHouses; Jerricho, Koga, Nash, Steele, Tchernovkov, Tamzarian, Kufahl, and Rezak. The title of a Bloodname is not a rank, but a title granted to them by their admittance into the BloodHouse. Each has it’s own unique history and traits that are unique to that specific Bloodname. Upon acceptance and completion of the trial into a BloodHouse, the player may than adorn himself with the specified Bloodname. A Trial procedure must be done to gain a Bloodname.

Section III. The requirements for a Bloodname are as follows:


A. Minimum Time: 6 Months.
B. Minimum Rank: Star Colonel.
C. Required Coyote RP Character.
D. Required Coyote Specific Vision Quest/Hunt RP.


Section IV. The procedure to gain a Bloodname is as follows:


A. Request sponsorship from Bloodhouse Leader.
B. Game Specific Trials (See Individual Game Trials). Loremaster, Oathmaster, and BloodHouse Leader must be in attendence.
C. Formal BloodHouse Induction.


Section V. The rules set for each BloodHouse are uniform, and all BloodHouses must abide. Every BloodHouse must only have one BloodHouse Leader and three Bloodnamed in each House. The membership in Bloodhouse is permanent. Only by unanimous vote by all seven BloodHouse Leaders during Blood Council can remove a Bloodnamed from a House. The removal of BloodHouse Leader must be done by unanimous vote of subordinate members of the BloodHouse and Khan's approval.

Section VI. The BloodHouse Leaders of Clan Coyote are granted the powers of lore and sponsorship inside their own BloodHouses. It is the duty of the BloodHouse Leaders to record and keep sacred the lore that each BloodHouse has been bestowed. Each BloodHouse Leader is to be given one vote in the Blood Council.

Section VII. The BloodCouncil involves all eight BloodHouse leaders, and shall meet only when called upon to decree the removal of a Bloodname from a Coyote. All eight BloodHouse Leaders must be in attendance, and in the case of a tie the Khan shall give the decision.

 

Article IV.


Section I. The structure of Clan Coyote Conduct shall herein be stated and defined.

Section II. All Coyotes are bound to the code of conduct that shall be implemented.

Section III. Each Coyote is to give respect to his fellow Coyotes, and members of the higher ranks and Keshik.

Section IV. Each Coyote is to show professionalism when being viewed from those outside of the Clan.

Section V. The purpose of Clan Coyote is that members who conglomerate to enjoy the games in which they play. Childish and/or immature actions that spark dramatization will not be tolerated.

Section VI. The reprimand that is to be given for breaking the codes of conduct will be done on a Coyote to Coyote basis, and decided on by the Keshik.
 

Article V.


Section I. The process unto changing and putting additions unto the Constitution shall be herein be stated and defined.

Section II. Only by the unanimous vote of the default Keshik; Khan, saKhan, Loremaster, and Oathmaster, shall be able to amend the Original Constitution.

Section III. When the Keshik as a whole decides that the time has come to embark upon a new game, that the majority of the Clan will play, a new article shall be commissioned to set forth the guidelines of that game.

 

Article VI.


Section I. The structure of Clan Coyote’s, Clan Coyote unit in the Netbattletech: Hardcore League shall herein be stated and defined.

Section II. All Keshik command positions within the Clan Coyote unit will remain the same. The ranking system shall remain the same, and in the Kell Hounds Galaxies the top six ranks will hold the same power as those in the Coyotes.

Section III. The Coyote will abide by all of the laws set forth in the Clan Coyote Constitution.

 

Article VII.


Section I. The ratification of this Constitution shall hold it to be law over Clan Coyote. The unanimous vote of the original founders shall make it so.
